Daniel B. Barr, President and Designated Broker

Dan grew up in the Wenatchee Valley, is a graduate of Eastmont HS and obtained a BA in Finance from the University of Washington in 1982. He lives in East Wenatchee with his wife, Cheri. Dan represents the second generation of CII having worked under his father, Bob Barr, prior to becoming president of Center Investments in 1990 and owning the company since 1994. Dan is a licensed Real Estate Broker and has received the designation of Certified Shopping Center Manager (CSM) from the International Council of Shopping Centers. Dan has attended many ICSC and IREM schools and taken extensive courses relating to commercial property management, development, brokerage and leasing.

Dan is known as a pragmatic commercial real estate professional and through his role as general partner of the largest retail property in the region understands how to create value in real estate. Dan maintains relationships with national, regional and local tenants and has handled leases with literally hundreds of tenants. He knows his markets well and understands retailers’ needs, which translates into successful leasing to new stores coming to market.

Chaun Birks, Operations and Leasing

Chaun also grew up in the Wenatchee Valley, and has had the opportunity to live in several Central and Eastern Washington markets. A graduate of Eastmont High School and Washington State University, Chaun is Dan and Cheri's son, and represents the third generation of Center Investments, Inc. Chaun has immersed himself in the commercial real estate business over the last decade as a leasing and selling agent, as well as operations/construction manager for several retail and office properties overseen by CII.

Chaun has a specific focus on the available space inventory of the Wenatchee Valley market and prides himself on meticulously maintaining that information. He feels accurate knowledge of the market and effective communication are critical tools for successfully managing and leasing commercial properties.

Dawn Dalton, Administrative Assistant & Lease Administration

Dawn joined Center Investments in early 1991. Dawn worked with Doreen Barr to learn the bookkeeping and lease administration skills necessary to run properties under management including the Wenatchee Valley Mall.  Dawn now keeps dozen of sets of books on various ownership entities through Yardi property management software.

Dawn is the first person tenants and vendors contact to get answers. From accounts payable, banking, property insurance, common area reconciliations and lease administration Dawn capably handles a host of our daily administrative duties.
